George Clarke's Amazing Spaces
Back in November 2014 before the bus arrived in Southampton I emailed Plumtree Pictures to see if they wanted to include it in the next series of George Clarke's Amazing Spaces.  They didn't have the go ahead from Channel 4 for funding so I had already started stripping out by the time they said yes.  It was handy having someone filming me - it meant I couldn't slack, but one thing I have learned is that nothing on TV is true!  They largely made up the back story about daughter Flo wanting an upgrade to the old "Hotel du Van".   Yes we go to Glastonbury each year, but Flo has camped on site in previous years.  Anyway they ignored all the work to get past the IVA test  and did the "reveal" in May (was originally going to be July) before I had time to finish it.

The programme is available on demand at

Looking good on location in Hampshire (not Oxfordshire!)

This was the video clip of me dancing in the mud in front of the Wine Bar at Glastonbury.  This also made it into Julian Temple's film about Glastonbury.
